Understanding PF (Provident Fund)

Understanding Gratuity
What is Gratuity?
Gratuity is a retirement benefit paid by employers to employees who have completed at least 5 years of continuous service.
- • Eligibility: 5 years minimum continuous service
- • Formula: (Last salary × 15 × Years) ÷ 26
- • Maximum Limit: ₹20 lakhs (as per amendment)
- • Payment: Within 30 days of retirement/resignation
